Your utility sets its own rates, and you have no say in them. A power purchase agreement replaces most of that bill with a rate you agree to at the start, so the biggest part of your energy cost stops moving without warning.
You keep a smaller utility connection for the hours your system is not producing. Added together, we design the two to land under what you pay today.
